This combined alarm device is mounted beneath AVENAR detector 4000 series detectors to provide audio and visual indication from the same point. The red flash on the white enclosure allows remote identification that the alarm is fire-related. The lithium battery pack ensures the warning continues even when the line is pulled as a stub; sound pressure reaches 97 dBA at one meter. With a separately procured cover, it can also be installed as a detector-free alarm point.
