A floor-mounted holding magnet belonging to the family of 24 V electromagnetic door holding devices. It is classified within door holder units under DIBt scope and holds the fire door in the open position. In addition to an integrated free-running diode, it carries a release switch that manually deactivates the magnet. Its 121 x 120 x 69 mm housing operates in the range of 0 °C to 50 °C. The release switch allows the door to remain in place without going to the panel.
