A reflective type linear smoke detector with transmitter and receiver housed in a single unit. It monitors the space between 8 and 50 meters with a prism installed on the opposite wall; four prisms are used for distances between 50 and 100 meters. Falls within EN 54-12:2002; alarm threshold is adjusted according to the project, and sensitivity is automatically compensated as the lens becomes soiled. Having all electronics at one end eliminates the need to run cables to the opposite side, reducing installation costs in long corridors.
