An approved conventional model VdS serving as the evaluation unit for linear heat-sensing cable. The LCD display on its front panel performs commissioning and parameter entry directly from the device without requiring a computer. In addition to monitoring a fixed temperature threshold, it also monitors the rate of temperature rise, providing early warning on slowly heating loads. The IP 65 housing eliminates the need for an additional protective enclosure in washdown areas.
