It is the 470 Ohm resistor type of a conventional multi-sensor detector that combines optical smoke and temperature measurement. The joint interpretation of two sensors covers fire developments that smoke measurement or heat measurement alone could miss. It is arranged in loop lines in mixed-use areas such as hotel floors, dormitories, and offices. Since a 820 Ohm version of the same housing is also available, resistance selection can be made according to the existing panel infrastructure.
