A white-bodied conventional detector that uses optical and chemical sensors together. The addition of the chemical channel expands the device's decision-making capability in slow-developing fires that produce little smoke. It is widely applied in standard zone circuits in residential, office, and hospitality buildings. The ultra-flat housing and easily cleaned surface allow the detector to be wiped without removal during periodic maintenance.
