The Bosch FCP-O320 optical smoke detector carries evaluation electronics for reliable detection. It performs automatic threshold adjustment for contamination values in the optical sensor; through drift compensation, dust accumulation over time does not shift sensitivity. This feature directly reduces false alarms caused by soiling—the best-known problem with optical detectors—and extends maintenance intervals.
