A conventional heat detector supplied with DIBt protection caps; it carries 820 Ohm alarm resistance and evaluates temperature rise together with an absolute threshold. The caps prevent the device from being exposed to dust and paint during the rough construction phase. It is used in projects where protection caps are required and in dusty production areas. The inclusion of caps with the product relieves the installation crew of the burden of removing and storing detectors.
