It is the standard mounting base that allows the FAP-520 fire detector to be attached to the ceiling. Screw terminals allow the line cables to be tightened securely against loosening. Its white plastic housing with a tone close to RAL 9003 is inconspicuous in suspended ceiling and surface-mounted applications. Since the base can be installed separately from the detector, only bases are mounted in rough construction, and detectors are left until commissioning day to protect them from dust and paint.
