Asenware AW-STD606D Standalone Heat Detector

The AW-STD606D is a battery-powered heat alarm that detects rises in ambient temperature and emits an audible alert above 85 dB at a distance of 3 meters through a built-in siren, operating independently. Because it functions without connection to a fire control center or a loop circuit, it is used for single-point protection in volumes such as kitchens, boiler rooms, and garages where smoke detectors produce false alarms due to steam and fumes. Power is supplied by 2 AA batteries (3 VDC); standby current remains below 10 µA, while alarm current consumption is 20 mA, and with the LED the peak value is on the order of 100 mA. The 360-degree visible red LED on the surface-mounted ceiling body flashes once per minute during normal operation and remains lit continuously during alarm. Operating range is -10°C to +50°C, and with a relative humidity limit of %95, it can also be used in unheated areas; the only item to be monitored during periodic inspection is battery status.
