Asenware AW-SST606D Standalone Smoke and Heat Combination Detector

The AW-SST606D is a standalone alarm device that combines an optical (photoelectric) smoke chamber and a thermistor in a single enclosure; it does not connect to a panel or alarm line and operates independently on a 3VDC circuit powered by two AA batteries. When smoke density reaches a sensitivity range of 0.33–0.51 dB/m or when ambient temperature exceeds a fixed threshold of 57°C, the internal siren provides an alert at a level of at least 85 dB at a distance of 3 meters; thanks to A2R class rate-of-rise detection, fires with rapid temperature increase do not require the threshold to be filled. Because standby current remains below 10 µA, permanent installation can be omitted and protection can be provided in apartments without cable routing capability, small offices, storage intermediate compartments, and renovated spaces. The device is designed for surface-mounted ceiling installation and operates between -10°C and +50°C. Since the same series also includes AW-SSD606D for smoke detection only and AW-STD606D for heat detection only, the order code must be verified as SST if combined detection is required.
