Asenware AW-SSD602 Standalone Photoelectric Smoke Detector

The AW-SSD602 is a photoelectric-principle smoke detector that operates independently without connection to a fire panel; when it detects smoke particles entering the sensing chamber, it triggers an alarm above 85 dB through its internal siren. Since it is powered by a 9 V battery installable regardless of polarity, it is directly mounted to the ceiling in residences where wiring is impractical, office rooms, dormitories, and guest houses. With an ABS housing, dimensions of Ø105 mm x 59 mm, and a weight of 0.135 kg including battery, the unit monitors an area exceeding 40 m²; it operates between -10°C and +50°C and in environments without condensation up to 95% relative humidity. The dual red LED provides 360° visibility, and thanks to its 2-wire output, a remote LED indicator can be connected to externally monitored locations such as corridors; the electronic board is shielded against EMI with a metal screen. The only standard declared in the device's manufacturer datasheet is GB 20517-2006; since there is no EN 54, EN 14604, or LPCB certification, addressable/conventional detectors connected to the panel should be preferred in projects requiring certified detection systems.
