AW-SP04EX is an exproof alarm siren featuring a stainless steel body and mesh-type flame arresting element, designed for use in areas with explosive atmosphere risk. It is powered by 24 V DC, draws current below 600 mA at alarm activation, and its sound level is adjustable between 90-110 dB via a potentiometer on the body. It offers three distinct tone options (fire, police, ambulance) with fire tone selected at factory dispatch; in this regard, the device should be evaluated not as a single-purpose fire alarm siren but as a multi-tone industrial field warning device. Operating range is -20°C to +50°C, relative humidity limit is 95% condensation-free, and atmospheric pressure is 80-110 kPa. Cable entry is prepared according to G1/2 threaded connector; due to the 3 kg body weight, the mounting surface and anchor selection must be made accordingly.
