Asenware AW-GSM200 Fire Alarm System GSM Communication Module

The AW-GSM200 is a communication module that transmits status information generated by the fire alarm panel to pre-defined phone numbers as SMS messages via the GSM network. The module features three external dry contact (volt-free) inputs; relay outputs from the panel such as alarm and fault signals are connected separately to these inputs, allowing different notifications to be defined for each condition. Since the operating principle is based on dry contacts, it can also be used with the contact outputs of suppression systems in addition to fire alarm panels; it is not dependent on any specific panel architecture. It is preferred in unmanned locations such as warehouses, transformer rooms, or pump rooms, to ensure that relevant personnel are informed of the status when no one is present at the panel. During commissioning, the GSM signal level at the installation point must be measured and the antenna position in enclosed spaces must be determined accordingly.
