Asenware AW-FD706EX Exproof Point-Type Ultraviolet (⟦0⟧) Flame Detector

AW-FD706EX is a point-type flame detector with cast aluminum exproof housing that detects infrared radiation in the 185-260 nm band and directly sees flame. The manufacturer's marking is "Exd II C T6 Gb/tD A21 ⟦0⟧ T80°C" (in IEC notation Ex db IIC T6 Gb / Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db), making paint booths, filling areas, generator and turbine rooms where flammable gas and dust atmospheres are present typical locations for this device. With a 120° detection angle, it reports an n-heptane fire measuring 0.33x0.33x0.05 m at a distance of 35 m in less than 10 seconds. It is not an addressable device; it operates on separate 24 VDC power (18~30 VDC) and is connected to the conventional panel zone via dry contacts (1 A / 30 VDC) of fire and fault relays, therefore the power line and relay wiring must be calculated rather than loop current in detection. Between -40°C and +70°C it can be positioned outdoors with ⟦1⟧ protection; cable entry is standard 1x3/4 NPT, optionally M25x1.5 or G3/4 can be selected.
