AW-FD704E-IR3 is an exproof flame detector that monitors flame radiation in three separate infrared bands. With a 120-degree detection angle, it scans a wide space and captures flames from distances up to 60 meters. Since sensitivity is adjustable over five levels, it can be adapted to site conditions according to hot surfaces and artificial light sources in the environment. Thanks to its explosive-atmosphere-protected enclosure, it can be positioned in areas where sparks are not tolerated, such as fuel filling stations, paint booths, and production spaces with gas lines. During installation, ensuring the optical surface has an unobstructed view of the area where flame is expected and cleaning it periodically is critical for the specified range values to correspond in the field.
