Asenware AW-FD703E-UVIR2 Exproof Ultraviolet + Dual Infrared Combined Flame Detector

AW-FD703E-UVIR2 is a conventional flame detector that distinguishes fire in its early stage by simultaneously reading solar-blind ultraviolet radiation and narrow-band infrared radiation emitted by flames. The combined evaluation of two separate spectra eliminates the misleading effects that fool single-sensor devices, such as welding arc, hot surfaces, or solar reflection; 16-bit microprocessor-based signal processing performs this discrimination on the device itself. A 120° field of view and detection range up to 60 meters enable single-point monitoring of large spaces such as fuel filling stations, paint booths, generator rooms, and similar volumes. The exproof enclosure is designed for direct installation in areas where explosive gases or vapors may be present. During commissioning, selecting the 5-level sensitivity adjustment according to the ambient background radiation and the distance to be monitored is critical in reducing false alarms.
