Asenware AW-EXYT Exproof Optical Smoke Detector

AW-EXYT is an exproof-housed optical detector designed for smoke detection in volumes where explosive gas may be present. Detection is based on the principle of smoke particles entering the chamber scattering light; this method responds in the early stage of smoldering fires. It is suitable for use in areas classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2, with IIA, IIB, and IIC gas groups and temperature class range T1~T6. It is preferred at locations where standard plastic-housed detectors cannot be used, such as paint booths, fuel filling and pump stations, chemical facilities, and solvent storage.
