Asenware AW-⟦0⟧ Exproof Speaker 15 WAW-EXYS-15

AW-⟦0⟧ is a 15 W flame-proof (Ex d IIC T6 / Ex d IIB T6) speaker manufactured for voice announcement and alert transmission in explosive atmospheres. It is powered not from a fire detection loop, but from an AC 110 V / 100 V / 70 V constant voltage audio line; therefore it is not a conventional or addressable loop device, but an announcement element connected to the audio line. In the effective frequency range of 250-3400 Hz, it produces sound pressure of 95-110 dB, thus keeping voice announcements intelligible in production and process volumes where machinery noise is high. Operating conditions are specified as -20 °C to +50 °C temperature, humidity up to 95% non-condensing, and atmospheric pressure of 80-110 kPa. A G20 threaded cable entry is used during installation; the 4 kg housing weight must be taken into account when selecting the support bracket and clamping connector.
