Asenware AW-EXWT Exproof Point-Type Heat Detector

AW-EXWT is an exproof point-type heat detector manufactured with a flame-proof body for detecting temperature rise in atmospheres where explosive gas may be present. In hazardous areas classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2, it is positioned to encompass IIA, IIB, and IIC gas groups and T1–T6 temperature groups. Since its output is a relay (dry contact), it is connected directly to the zone line of conventional fire panels or via an intermediate module rather than to a classic addressed loop; therefore, during the design phase, the line supply and contact polarity must be planned according to panel documentation. Its certification is in accordance with GB3836-2000 series standards; since there is no certificate statement within EN 54 or ATEX scope, compliance with specifications required by these documents must be verified before purchase in projects where they are mandated.
