Asenware AW-EXSG-2 Exproof Outdoor Type Strobe Siren

AW-EXSG-2 is a conventional siren with a flame-proof housing that announces fire alarm both audibly and visibly in areas where explosive gas or vapor may be present. It operates at DC 24V, draws a maximum of 200 mA during alarm, and produces a fire siren tone in the 75-90 dB range; sound is delivered through a stainless steel flame-proof grille, and light comes from a 360° visible high-brightness LED. Due to the Exd ib IIB T6 marking on the housing, it is suitable for environments up to IIB gas group; IIC environments such as hydrogen and acetylene are outside the scope. The manufacturer specifies the operating range as -20 °C to +50 °C, relative humidity up to 95% (non-condensing), and atmospheric pressure of 80-110 kPa. The 1.4 kg unit is connected to the line via a G20 threaded cable entry, so an appropriate exproof fitting must be used during installation and gland integrity must be checked during periodic maintenance.
