Asenware AW-EL102 Door Header Alarm Indicator (Parallel LED)

AW-EL102 is a parallel alarm lamp mounted above doors for conventional fire detection circuits, used at points where the detector's own alarm LED cannot be seen. In hotel rooms with closed doors, archives and electrical rooms, and for detectors installed in suspended ceilings or beneath raised floors, it shows from the corridor which volume the alarm is coming from. Connection is made with two wires; the indicator is connected to the detector socket's parallel indicator terminals and draws its power not from a separate source but from the detection circuit's own 24 VDC voltage. For this reason, each indicator must be included in the line load calculation, and the number of units to be used in the same loop must be planned according to the panel manufacturer's limits. During periodic tests, continuity of wiring can also be verified simultaneously by checking whether the indicator lights when the detector is triggered.
