Asenware AW-D612 1-Year Battery Life Standalone Heat Detector

AW-D612 is a standalone heat alarm that is mounted without wiring and operates on its own battery. In steamy, dusty, or smoky spaces where a smoke detector could generate false alarms — such as kitchens, garages, boiler rooms, storage areas — it responds to increases in ambient temperature rather than smoke. Since it requires neither wire runs nor panel connection, it can be mounted to the ceiling of existing structures without renovation; in alarm condition, the device itself provides an audible alert. In this respect, it is not a system detector: it is not connected to an addressable or conventional fire panel and does not replace a wired heat detector in paneled installations. With a battery life of approximately one year, regular testing with the device's test button and annual battery replacement should be planned.
