Asenware AW-D146R 24 VDC Conventional UV Flame Detector

The AW-D146R is a conventional flame detector that detects direct flame by sensing ultraviolet radiation in the 185-260 nm band. It is a 4-wire device powered by external 12-28 V DC supply (nominal 24 V DC); it transmits alarm status via a relay output with 24 V DC / 1 A contact capacity, and the buzzer in its housing provides on-site warning above 85 dB at 3 meters. Since the monitoring current remains below 3 mA and the alarm current below 30 mA, power line sizing is straightforward; with an approximately 120° detection angle, it enables wide-area coverage with a single device at fuel transfer points, boiler rooms, and enclosed spaces where solvents are used where smoke develops late but flame grows rapidly. The white ABS housing measures φ99.8 x 43.2 mm, weighs approximately 120 g, and is used indoors only between -10°C and +50°C at 5-95 relative humidity. This model does not replace a two-wire loop-powered addressable detector; during design, a separate power line and relay/conventional zone input on the panel side must be planned.
