Asenware AW-D137EX Exproof Safety Barrier

The AW-D137EX is an intrinsically safe (IS) exproof barrier that maintains the energy to lines running to devices in explosive atmospheres below the safe limit. It limits open circuit voltage on 24V DC supply to below 27V and short circuit current to below 100 mA, preventing energy accumulation that would create sparks in the hazardous area; the protection class is declared as Exd [ib] IIC T6. It is positioned at the transition point between the safe area and the hazardous area, on the field output side of the panel. Operating range is -20°C to +50°C, relative humidity limit is 95% without condensation, atmospheric pressure is 80-110 kPa, the housing weighs 1.2 kg and features a G20 threaded cable entry. Conformity declaration is given under GB3836 exproof standard; the manufacturer does not declare a certificate under EN 54 scope for this product, if the project specification requires EN 54 this matter should be evaluated in advance.
