Asenware AW-D122 CAN Bus Transmission Module

AW-D122 is a line repeater used to overcome the distance limit of the CAN data bus connecting panels in Asenware addressable fire detection systems. It is not an input/output module that receives an address on the loop (SLC) line; it enters serially into the inter-panel communication backbone and regenerates the weakening signal to carry it to the next point. At a communication speed of 25 kbps, approximately one repeater is provided every 400 meters, thus panel groups distributed across separate blocks or remote floors can be consolidated into a single network. The supply range is 18-28 VDC, operating current is below 100 mA and the device operates between -10°C and +50°C. Its thin enclosure measuring 110 × 87 × 9 mm is of IP30 protection class and must be mounted inside a panel or in a closed cabinet.
