Asenware AW-D119 Addressable Input/Output Module

AW-D119 is an input/output module that combines monitoring and control functions in a single enclosure for Asenware addressable fire detection systems. On the input side, it carries the status of a dry-contact device that cannot be directly connected to the panel (such as a flow switch, valve position switch or a fault contact on an external panel) to the panel via the addressed loop. On the output side, it positions the relay contact upon command from the panel, enabling the operation of external equipment such as dampers, door magnets or elevator car lowering. Since the module receives its own address from the loop, which point is triggered is displayed separately on the panel; thus in large facilities, it is not necessary to run separate cables to the center for each scenario. When putting into service, the address must be programmed into the module with a programmer and the relay contact must be verified to be compatible with the voltage and current values of the load to be driven.
