Asenware AW-CTD382 ⟦2⟧ / ⟦0⟧ Approved Conventional Heat Detector

AW-CTD382 is an A2R class heat detector connected directly to a two-wire conventional fire line; in addition to a fixed temperature threshold of 57°C, it also evaluates a rapid temperature rise of 7.1°C within 5 seconds as an alarm. Car parks, boiler rooms, kitchen passages, and storage spaces where smoke detection may produce false results due to dust, exhaust, or steam are typical applications for this type. Since it is powered from the zone line, no separate power supply is required: it operates in the 9-28 VDC range polarity-independent, draws current below 120 µA at 24 VDC in standby, does not exceed 15 mA in alarm, and operates between -10°C and +50°C. The dual LED on the housing, visible 360°, blinks approximately every 6 seconds in normal operation to show it is functioning; at alarm, it locks in the red position and is released only when the panel is reset. The unit with base has a diameter of 99.45 mm and height of 48.2 mm and is used with AW-CFP2166 series conventional panels; it is ⟦2⟧ / BRE approved and has CPR performance declaration reference 0832-CPR-F2072.
