Asenware AW-CSS2166-3 Conventional Flashing Sounder

AW-CSS2166-3 is a flashing sounder used in conventional fire detection installations that combines audible and visual alarm in a single housing. When the central unit enters alarm, the sounder produces intermittent flash along with the alarm sound; thus the probability of the alarm being noticed increases in production areas where machine noise is high or in environments where users with hearing impairment may be present. It is not connected to addressable systems, but to the sounder output of zone-based conventional control panels; during installation, polarization direction and line end resistance must be observed. At the quotation and order stage, it is recommended to specify the code including the final digit to avoid confusion with other variants of the AW-CSS2166 family.
