Asenware AW-CSD811-4W 4-Wire Conventional Smoke Detector

AW-CSD811-4W is a 4-wire optical (photoelectric) smoke detector used in conventional fire alarm systems; it detects slowly developing, smoky fires before flaming by measuring light scattering caused by smoke particles in the air. Supply voltage ranges from 9–28 VDC and is connected polarity-independent; standby current remains below 120 µA at 24 VDC, while alarm current does not exceed 15 mA with a 1 kΩ current-limiting resistor. The 4-wire architecture separates the detector power supply from the detection line, making it suitable for simple relay-output panels and applications where existing wiring is being upgraded. Operating environment is defined from −10°C to +50°C and up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing); therefore, external spaces at risk of freezing and areas subject to steam condensation are excluded. During installation, the product height of 48.2 mm with base mounted and body diameter of 99.45 mm must be considered; suspended ceiling sections and cable box placement should be planned accordingly.
