Asenware AW-CSD501-4W 4-Wire Conventional Smoke Detector

AW-CSD501-4W is a conventional smoke detector that alarms by detecting smoke particles in the environment within its optical chamber. The "-4W" expression at the end of its designation indicates four-wire architecture: the detector receives power from a separate cable pair and transmits alarm information via a contact; therefore, it is suitable for installations configured with security alarm panels and must not be confused with models directly connected to 2-wire fire zones. Operating range is 9-28 V DC and polarity is disregarded; standby current remains below 200 µA, and in alarm condition with LEDs lit, remains below 45 mA. Thanks to two LEDs on the housing, indication is visible 360 degrees; during normal operation it provides a brief flash approximately every six seconds to indicate power status. Including its base, the unit measuring Ø103 mm × 55 mm operates between -10 °C and +50 °C in condensation-free environments up to 95% relative humidity; since the manufacturer's documentation does not publish IP protection class and EN 54 section number, these data must not be assumed without comparison against project specifications.
