Asenware AW-CSD381EX Exproof Conventional Optical Smoke Detector
The AW-CSD381EX is an optical smoke detector with exproof enclosure connected to a conventional fire detection circuit in spaces with explosive gas hazard. The flame-tight housing prevents the detector's own electronics from becoming an ignition source for the ambient mixture; the device is supplied with Ex d ib IIC T6 marking. Power supply is 24 VDC ±3 V and since connection is polarity independent, reversed terminal polarity does not cause problems during installation; operating range is between -10 °C and +55 °C. The manufacturer declares conformity to EN 54-7:2000 edition and IP30 protection class for the device; since IP30 is a non-waterproof rating, additional protection should be evaluated at wet locations or points exposed to direct water contact.
