Asenware AW-CSD311 Quick-Response Conventional Smoke Detector

AW-CSD311 is an optical-principle smoke detector connected to conventional fire detection loops; it alarms by measuring light scattering caused by smoke particles entering the sensing chamber. Supply range is 9-28 VDC and since it operates independently of polarity, reversed wiring of loop terminals does not produce a fault during commissioning — in multi-story buildings where numerous detectors are installed in a short time, this detail saves time in the field. In alarm condition, the current drawn does not exceed 15 mA at 24 VDC; this is the value that must be considered along with panel output capacity when calculating how many detectors can be connected to one zone loop. The product detects smoke only and has no heat-sensing function; in spaces where temperature rise occurs before smoke, a heat detector must be positioned separately during the design phase.
