Asenware AW-BK901EX Exproof Conventional Reflective Beam Detector

AW-BK901EX is a conventional reflective beam detector housed in an aluminum alloy exproof body for explosive atmosphere conditions, operating with a reflector positioned opposite to it. It monitors an 8-100 m optical path between the transmitter and reflector; when smoke weakens the beam, it gives an alarm and covers an area up to 1400 m² with a width of up to 14 m using a single device. It is preferred in high-ceiling, dusty volumes where point-type detector maintenance is difficult, and in areas of fuel and process facilities with explosive zone classification. Its power supply is 15-28 V DC; it carries separate normally open relay outputs for alarm and fault rated at 28 V / 2 A, operating range is -20/+50 °C and 5-95 RH condensation-free. Since the protection type is Ex d IIB T6, it is limited to gas group IIB; for IIC atmosphere, additional evaluation must be performed during the design phase; the manufacturer declares the device as compatible with AW-CFP2166 fire alarm panel.
