Aritech DM2010 Addressable Fire Alarm Button (Red, Surface-Mounted, Glazed)

2000 series addressable fire alarm button; supplied with red body, surface-mount installation, and replaceable glass element. The button's function is not to detect fire but to allow a person who SEES the fire to manually activate the system; therefore its placement follows a different logic from detector placement—located on escape routes, beside exit doors, and on floor landings. Because it is addressable, the panel directly indicates which button was pressed.
