Aritech DB2016 Isolator-equipped Detector Base
Product Code: DB2016
Detector base incorporating the isolator function. When a short circuit occurs on the loop, only the faulted section is de-energized rather than the entire line. Compared to using separate isolator modules, mounting points and wiring are reduced; isolator placement is also planned together with detector placement. The most common deficiency we observe in the field is the cost-cutting practice of accounting for and reducing the number of isolators in the project.
