Eighteen-inch line array active subwoofer. Since the amplifier is housed within the enclosure, it does not require a separate power stage. In line array systems, the subwoofer assumes the low-frequency load from the main cabinets; this separation increases both clarity and overall sound pressure level. Suspension points also allow the cabinet to be suspended beneath the array.
