12 Volt 7 Ampere Battery
The 12 volt 7 ampere battery is a backup power source used to maintain operation of fire alarm control panels during mains power failure. Regulations require the fire system to remain operational independently for a specified duration when mains power is lost; battery capacity is calculated according to this duration and the system's current consumption. Typically, two units are connected in series to obtain 24 volt system voltage.
